Focus Modules

Introducing the new WITS Focus Modules:  age-appropriate learning packages on these important topics:

• Race / culture diversity
• SOGI (sexual orientation & gender identity)
• Diverse abilities
• Indigenous people & cultures
• Cyberbullying & online safety

These new educational packages contain topic-specific books, lesson plans, activities, online tools and new WITS items. The first four noted above will be in two versions: for ages 4-8 and ages 8-12. The Cyberbullying modules will be for ages 8-12.

These modules are being developed in partnership with subject matter experts, our WITS team, and piloted in 10 diverse school settings – Indigenous, rural, suburban, inner-city – in several provinces.

Available to WITS-subscribed schools in September 2024!
