For schools located in Kamloops, Fraser Canyon, Coquihalla, Shuswap, Revelstoke, and Okanagan, we have acquired funding to offer FREE one-year subscriptions and the original WITS-LEADS Core School and Classroom Modules to eleven (11) schools! Developed for elementary school age children, WITS® Core School and Classroom Modules teach children simple, easy-to-learn-and-remember strategies when dealing with peer victimization including bullying.

The award-winning WITS® programs have been implemented by elementary schools across Canada, in parts of the US, Brazil, and – most recently – Belgium.

Our Core Modules are literature-based, so school kits come with a curated set of age-appropriate picture books (k-3) and chapter books (gr. 4-6), augmented by WITS® lesson plans and activities specifically developed for each book.

The complete program includes detailed instruction for school activities and community & family involvement, as well as access to educator training, and online resources including videos & other information. School and classroom kits are packaged with banners and posters, as well as bonus reminder items such as WITS® bookmarks, rulers, pencils and stickers or buttons. In response to inquiries and requests made by educators, WITS® Programs developed these new age-appropriate educational tools to cover five (5) important topics: race and cultural diversity, SOGI (sexual orientation & gender identity), diverse abilities, Indigenous people & cultures, and online safety. WITS® Focus Modules were developed through a partnership between subject matter experts and the WITS® team, and piloted in diverse school settings – Indigenous, rural, suburban, and inner-city – across Canada. Packages contain topic-specific books, classroom activities, posters, and access to downloadable lesson plans and activities booklets developed specifically for each picture or chapter book, as well as other online resources and bonus WITS® reminder items.
