The WITS LEADS Program provides innovative activities for educators to teach children in Grades 4 to 6 how to be WITS LEADS. The program emphasizes problem-solving skills represented by the LEADS acronym: Look and listen, Explore points of view, Act, Did it work? and Seek help. Each skill builds upon the previous one. Optimally the activity sessions should be completed sequentially; however, for greater flexibility the literature based lesson plans included in each session may also be used independently or in any order.
